Barb Kucera, BS, RDH, is a 1986 graduate of the Ohio State University and has been working with her facility dog, ATKINS, since 2018, providing animal-assisted intervention to mitigate dental anxiety. She and ATKINS currently work at Charlotte Pediatric Dentistry in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kucera is also a dental hygiene instructor at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte.
