Recognize an outstanding colleague, or yourself!

Feb. 23, 2022
There's a new way to recognize dental hygienists who go that extra mile—Patient Impact & Rise Above (PIRA). If you know someone you want to nominate (including yourself!), we'd love to hear from you.
Jackie Sanders, MBA, RDH, Chief editor, RDH magazine

Do you go the extra mile in your job, try hard to change your patients’ lives and influence their health, and make a difference every day? Do you know other dental hygienists who also try their best in their profession?

You might be eligible for RDH Patient Impact & Rise Above (PIRA), a new program now accepting nominations for outstanding hygienists. Those who are selected for recognition will receive a personalized certificate and PIRA badge, will be recognized in RDH social media, and much more.

Submissions must be about dental hygiene clinicians who are working chairside three or more days a week. To find out how to nominate yourself or a colleague, visit the PIRA website. You’ll find a list of questions to help guide the nomination process, as well as instructions on how to submit nominations and follow up with the process.

Visit the PIRA website to nominate someone today! Good luck, and we look forward to hearing from many outstanding and qualified colleagues!
