In the June 1997 issue, RDH published a long list of Internet Web sites for dental hygienists to explore. After the deadline, we received information about another site that RDH readers should visit.
The Oral Health Education Foundations` Web site (www.oralcancer.org) offers interactive professional conferencing, as well as access to the numerous video and written educational materials provided through the National Oral Cancer Awareness Program, which the OHEF administers.
The Web site was developed in response to recommendations made by the National Strategic Planning Conference for the Prevention and Control of Oral and Pharyngeal Cancer. The conference was co-sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the American Dental Association.
