RDH Under One RoofAug. 5-7, 2010Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, Orlando
General Session — In recent years, the RDH Under One Roof conference featured a seminar where a single presenter attempted to familiarize attendees with the products displayed in the exhibit hall. In 2010, Tricia Osuna, RDH, BS, FAADH, will serve as a moderator for “Orlando Revue: New and Innovative Products of 2010.” She will moderate company representatives as they outline in 10-minute summaries the products and services that they will be discussing with dental hygienists who attend RDH Under One Roof. The first 10 companies will present their summaries late in the afternoon on Thursday, Aug. 5. The second group will address the seminar audience on Friday morning. The exhibit hall is open immediately after both sessions end.
Tip of the month — RDH Under One Roof is still a relatively young conference, so each year many dental hygienists are just attending their first one. On Wednesday, Aug. 4, the conference staff will host its “First Timer Meet and Greet” session, starting at 4:30 p.m. An explanation of how the conference is operated, as well as some highlights of this year’s conference will be discussed. We also encourage “UOR alumni” to attend since they are the best ambassadors for the conference. So join us for some lemonade on the quiet summer afternoon of the first day, preparing yourself for the activities of the next few days.
Exhibit Hall — The exhibit hall is also the location of the receptions and lunches that are included in the tuition. In addition, the conference’s “door prizes” are given away in this area. So it’s hard to miss the array of dental hygiene products spread out row after row.
Close to 100 exhibitors are delighted to discuss products and services that dental hygienists can incorporate into their practice. Many offer samples and/or discounts during RDH Under One Roof, and a few companies have even introduced new products at “UOR” in years past.
