Pfingst and Company recently made available its new Disposable Waste Cups. The small plastic cups offer a safer and more efficient means of disposing of common infectious materials.

An instrument holding either the cotton or gauze to be disposed of is inserted into the top of the cup. The jagged edges of the opening hold the cotton or gauze as the instrument is withdrawn, causing the waste to fall into the cup.

The disposable plastic cups are held upright within a sturdy stainless base that can be sterilized. Once full, the cups are removed from the base and placed in an infectious waste container.

The cups are currently available in bags of 50, or boxes of 1,000. For the name of your nearest dealer, contact Pfingst & Company, Inc., 105 Synder Road, South Plainfield, NJ 07080; call (908) 561-6400; or fax (908) 561-3213.
