The new SmartBrush™, created by Dr. F. M. Butler Jr., retired Georgia periodontist, was unveiled during the ADA annual convention in San Francisco. The only adjustable, bendable, rotatable, shapeable, and customizable toothbrush is changing the way dentists buy toothbrushes.

The SmartPlan™, which was designed by the dentists who own and operate the SmartBrush™ Corporation, employs a new way of controlling bottom-line costs. Here`s how it works: Dentists purchase the SmartBrush™ at an everyday low price of $1.35 each. (This number becomes lower with the more brushes purchased.) Each SmartBrush™ comes with instructions and the very important order form for the patient`s use. For every SmartBrush™ a patient orders, his/her dentist receives two free brushes! This is all kept in order by a special tracking system. The patient must fill in his dentist`s name in order to receive the SmartBrush™. The bottom line is that if only one patient in 20 orders five SmartBrushes™, 60 percent of all the dentist`s SmartBrushes™ will be free.
