The Pinnacle Marketing Group has released a patient education videotape titled, "My First Dental Visit." A Maryland hygienist developed the video to educate parents and children about a child`s first visit.
- The videotape depicts the procedures involved with a four-year-old boy having his teeth cleaned by a dental hygienist and examined by a dentist.
- Linda Bokish-Lichtenauer, an RDH since 1983, created the 12-minute videotape.
- Children are introduced to Mr. Thirsty (air suction), Funny Nose (teeth scaler), Lady Sunshine (light), and The Water Gun.
