- The Bad Breath Detective consists of two tubes containing a culture medium and two sterile cotton-tipped applicators.

The Fresh Breath Institute introduces the Bad Breath Detective, a self-test for chronic halitosis.

- The Bad Breath Detective consists of two tubes containing a culture medium and two sterile cotton-tipped applicators.

- The applicators are inserted into the mouth to collect tongue coating. The tips are then placed into the tubes and sealed.

- By timing the discoloration of the tips in the tubes, patients can gauge the severity of their chronic bad breath.
