SmartPractice introduces a Latex Allergy Alert Counter Card for its customers.

- The card, designed to be displayed at the reception desk, asks patients, "Do you suffer from latex allergy?" The card prompts patients to inform staff of a known latex allergy so precautions can be taken to minimize exposure during the visit.

- The card also urges patients unaware of latex allergies to think about possible sensitization with questions about past contact with latex products or reactions that could identify allergic symptoms.

- To receive a free card, contact SmartPractice, (800) 522-0800.
