Rembrandt Oral Care Products has developed the Rembrandt BREATHCare Treatment Program, a natural addition to a smart, efficient daily oral-care regimen. The BREATHCare Treatment Program is said to be the first of its kind, an innovative professional treatment for halitosis that is 100-percent effective.
With the program, a dentist creates a custom mouthguard used with a specially formulated gel. The treatment kit contains six syringes of antibacterial gel with peroxide and fluoride. This gel, which should not cause tooth or gum sensitivity, is used in the mouthguard that covers the teeth and gums. The treatment lasts from five minutes per day for fresh breath, to 30 minutes or more per day for the treatment of chronic halitosis. In some cases, the mouthguard may be used overnight.
