She is an assistant clinical professor at New York University College of Dentistry and teaches the only Forensic Dentistry/Bioterrorism Preparedness course for dental hygienists in a Baccalaureate program in the country. She was awarded the Pfizer/ADHA Award of Excellence, the ADHA Distinguished Service Award and both national and international recognitions for her forensic work.
