Kodak Dental Business offers updated and expanded literature on the benefits of Kodak T-Mat films and Kodak Lanex Screens in extraoral radiography.

- T-Mat Films incorporate an emulsion for "light-gathering" capability. The emulsions employ flat, tabular grains of silver halide rather than conventional pebble-shaped grains. The literature provides details on specific Kodak T-Mat Films for panoramic, cephalometric, mandible, and TMJ radiography.

- The rare earth compounds in Kodak Lanex screens convert X-ray energy to image-creating light. In addition, the rare earth phosphor allows shorter exposure times, reducing motion blur.

- To request the related literature, write to Eastman Kodak Co., Dental Business, 343 State St., Rochester, NY 14650-1122. Refer to order number D3-10.
