Premier Dental Products Co. recently introduced Enamelon Preventive Treatment Gel, which is formulated with stabilized stannous fluoride plus ACP technology (calcium and phosphate ions), to offer as a home-use treatment plan for caries prevention, gingivitis, and sensitivity relief. The gel reduces the solubility of enamel, preventing demineralization of the tooth surface when exposed to acids. The nonabrasive gel is also formulated with Ultramulsion, a patented saliva-soluble coating that moisturizes and soothes oral soft tissues.

Crest recently launched Pro-Health HD, a two-step system home-care system that isolates key ingredients. The Pro-Heath HD package features a Purifying Cleanser (step 1, plaque control) and Perfecting Gel (step 2, polishing and whitening teeth).

Hu-Friedy recently launched the Hu-Friedy Disposable Prophy Angles in both standard straight and contra angle styles. Available in soft and firm cup options, the disposable prophy angles are not made with natural rubber latex and are compatible with the most common low-speed handpieces. The contra angle style has a unique 15-degree angle bend mid-body to allow for a more comfortable neutral wrist position.



Dentsply Professional recently announced NuPro White Varnish, which facilitates a rapid fluoride release for hypersensitivity relief. The formulation is designed to minimize clumping and can be applied with no dripping or stringing. NuPro White Varnish can be applied to a wet tooth, spreading easily and leaving a uniform film. The unit dose offers flexible handling options; the dose cup can be snapped onto the NuPro prophy grip, held between fingers, or set on a flat surface.



Dental Innovations' recently introduced its DI-15 Electronic Earplug, featuring advanced circuitry that automatically changes output levels as sound input levels. As environmental sound levels become unsafe, the earplugs automatically lower sound to safer levels. They then provide natural hearing when sound levels are safe. There's no need to remove the earplugs to hear clearly. The DI-15 earplugs contain high-definition transducers.



Hu-Friedy recently introduced its new IMS Infinity Series cassettes for instrument processing. The stainless steel cassettes feature a hole pattern that promotes increased water flow. A silicone rail design reduces instrument contact, allowing for more access to instruments while holding them safely in place. Users can tell at a glance if the cassette is locked or unlocked due to a new latch design.

Patterson Dental recently introduced AutoSDS to help dental practices manage safety data as required by OSHA, as well as provide a solution for managing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). AutoSDS is a subscription-based service that allows users to maintain virtual binders made up of the MSDSs that OSHA requires to be readily accessible.
