Denta-Lite Plus peroxide prophy paste
Denta-Lite Plus is a peroxide prophy paste for cleaner, whiter teeth.
- According to a study conducted at Baylor College of Dentistry, this product will out-clean any conventional prophy paste on the market today. The pretreatment whiteness of two groups of nonvital teeth were determined using a Minolta Chroma Meter. Each tooth was treated for 30 seconds with either Denta-Lite Plus or other commercial prophy pastes, using a slow-speed handpiece and rubber cup. The whiteness of each tooth was determined again and the before-and-after differences subjected to statistical analysis. It was found that the mean increase in whiteness values produced by Denta-Lite Plus is some 50 times greater than the difference produced by conventional prophy pastes.
