Protexin® oral-rinse concentrate contains zinc chloride to clean the mouth of debris and stringy saliva while leaving a refreshing peppermint-menthol taste.
Because it is a concentrate, the user mixes it in the office. A 2-oz. bottle of concentrate makes up to two gallons of oral rinse.
If used chairside, the convenient drip top allows the operator to place a few drops of the concentrate in the rinse cup for patient use.
