Midwest Dental Products introduces the Midwest RDH handpiece, which is lightweight and ergonomically de-signed for hygienists.

- The handpiece is designed to be easy on hygienists` hands and wrists, yet tough enough to handle extensive daily polishing.

- The contour of the handpiece keeps the hand in a more relaxed, natural position during polishing. The diameter of the grip has been optimized to reduce the tension that can arise from gripping smaller instruments. The wide back end allows the hygienist to more naturally anchor the handpiece in the cradle of the hand.

- The handpiece weighs only three ounces.

- The Midwest RDH comes in two versions: a Right Angle handpiece and a handpiece for disposable angles.

- The Right Angle handpiece comes with a detachable Triple Seal head designed to hold lubricants in and to keep prophy paste out.

- Both versions feature a 360-degree swivel at the fingertips, which decreases the amount of effort needed to manuever the handpiece.

- A texturized, non-slip surface ensures a steady grip even when wearing wet gloves.

- The Midwest RDH has smooth start-up which reduces prophy paste splatter.

- The one-piece construction makes it easier to maintain and sterilize the entire handpiece after each patient use.
