K-Stat Dental Laboratories introduces K-Stat, the solution for hemorrhage control. The patent-pending Vit. K solution helps stop hemorrhage after dental procedures, such as prophylaxis, root planing, extractions, and during crown preparations. It may be used as an oral rinse, an irrigant after root planing (prior to irrigant antimicrobial therapy), or applied to cotton gauze to manage hemorrhage. The concentrated form may be applied to packing cord.

As studies indicate blood and protein deactivate antimicrobial irrigants, this product will enhance the effectiveness of antimicrobials by decreasing hemorrhage. Patients leave the office in a more hygienic manner.
