Griselda Lopez, BSDH, RDH, CDA, COSE, is a practicing dental hygienist in Virginia, and has been in the dental field for 16 years. She enjoys volunteering at the dental clinic and was a recipient of the Ellen S. Flanagan Volunteer Service Award. Lopez has a passion for educating patients and other health-care providers about the oral-systemic link. She is an advocate for the Latinx community and the daughter of Mexican immigrants.
