Jeannette Diaz, MPH, MS, RDHAP, RDH, FADHA, is a keynote speaker, independent dental hygienist, and educator. She was a recipient of the 2021 Sunstar/RDH Award of Distinction. Jeannette currently works for the California Department of Developmental Services and teaches graduate and undergraduate studies. As an empath, Jeannette is passionate about humanizing health care to improve the patient-provider experience. Her main area of expertise is working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Jeannette’s interests include qualitative research, grief literacy, and public health. As a lifelong learner, she is in her final year of completing her doctorate in health sciences.
