How new grads can connect with the RDH community
RDH provides numerous resources for you to stay connected to your profession. Throughout the year we provide publications, continuing education, conventions, and podcasts. From a monthly magazine to a weekly newsletter, you can receive subscriptions at no charge. For the new graduate, we also have a newsletter dedicated to your needs titled RDH Graduate, which is delivered monthly.

Each state has unique continuing education laws. When you need CE credits, RDH hosts a Saturday event four times each year called RDH Extended, where you can acquire eight CEU from the comfort of home. Every July, RDH invites you to attend the largest dental hygiene convention, RDH Under One Roof (UOR). This conference is held at a different location each year. In 2023, we will be gathering in Nashville, in 2024 we’ll be admiring the mountain views in Denver, and in 2025 we'll go big in Dallas.
If this isn’t enough, RDH offers weekly podcasts that discuss trending topics, feature interviews with dental hygienists, and provide audible content from our publications. We also hold an annual career development program titled RDH Evolution that’s hosted each year prior to UOR.
The dental hygiene community is a unique collaboration of individuals who are caregivers and continuous learners. Networking is the golden ticket of our profession, and the more you embrace your personal path, the more rewarding the profession becomes.
Make no mistake—whether you’re a student, a new graduate, or a continuously learning dental hygienist, RDH has the content and resources to support you on your professional journey.
Wishing you success,
The RDH Team
