What is Tend, and how can you become part of it?
I had the opportunity to sit down with Dr. Chris Salierno, former editor of Dental Economics, to learn more about his recent move to Tend, a rapidly growing dental service organization. He explains what sets it apart from other DSOs, including its "hyper focus" on patients and teams.
"You might say Tend is patient- and team-obsessed," he said. "We spend a lot of resources on wowing patients before and when they enter one of our offices. For example, we offer a 'brushery' in each location. How many times have patients told you they just had lunch and didn't have a chance to brush? Well, now they can. That's just one example why patients will be impressed with a Tend office."
As dental hygienists, we enjoy regular affirmation and feedback, and we want to be confident and comfortable with our responsibilities. Tend makes sure this is true for everyone who's part of the company, and offers first-class wages, benefits training, and an excellent company culture.
Does this sound too good to be true? Dr. Salierno assures us it's not. Visit the Tend website and click on the careers button to find locations and to learn whether you want to be part of this growing and dynamic dental service organization.
