AMADENT introduces its newest wet/dry apex locator/pulp-tester combination, the NEOSONO ULTIMA EZ-PT II with a new, improved, optional, painless pulp tester. The new pulp-tester feature prevents false readings with ACV (automatic contact verification).
- Although the recently introduced "wet" or multiple-frequency apex locators have vastly increased the benefits of apex-locator use, these "wet" units are unable to perform under "dry" conditions such as for the final measurement, which requires an impedance-type apex locator.
- The digital readout in millimeters avoids the need for the file to be placed exactly at an apical foramen, since the file can be stopped at 0.5 mm or 1.0 mm short.
- The compact ULTIMA EZ-PT II is powered by a standard 9-volt battery and contains an automatic shut-off. During the introductory program, it is offered with an extended 18-month warranty, a loaner program and trade-ins accepted for all apex locators and pulp testers.
