Dear RDH:
Contributors to RDH have suggested that clinicians conduct research in private practice. While research should be encouraged, the article, "Thirsty for Training,O by Wendy St. Cyr (July 1996 issue) demonstrates the limitations of this practice. Although the article dealt with thought-provoking issues, this is certainly not a valid study and should not be legitimized under the guise of published research.
