- The probe, which uses vibrant green and red colors, reduces poor visibility.

- Two designs of PerioWise offer the choice of markings at 3, 5, 7, 10 mm or 3, 6, 9, 12 mm.

- The company reported that the probes are safe to use around implants.

- PerioWise can be repeatedly autoclaved and reused, extending its use beyond that of color-coded metal probes.
