Dentsply`s Preventive Care Division introduces the Cavitron Sustained Performance System (SPS) Ultrasonic Scaler, which is engineered to maintain scaling effectiveness while enhancing patient comfort by allowing the clinician to scale at low power settings.
- The system features the Blue Zone, which is an extended low-power range for subgingival scaling. The second position on the two-position foot pedal provides a temporary power boost to remove tenacious calculus.
- The SPS technology is also available in the Cavitron Jet System for scaling and air polishing.
