ISO Certification
Hu-Friedy announces its certification of hand-held dental instruments by the International Standards Organiza-tion.
- ISO 9000 is the approved quality standard for most industrialized nations. The standard is a set of common sense rules that are important for improving and maintaining quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- ISO certification is attained at one of three levels, based on a company`s function. Hu-Friedy, a designer and manufacturer of instruments, was awarded ISO 9001 certification.
- Hu-Friedy is registered with SGS EQCI, a company that provides the certification service. ISO auditors will visit Hu-Friedy bi-annually to confirm that the standards set forth are still being followed in order to maintain certification.
