Illumine™ in-office whitener

Dentsply Preventive Care introduces Illumine™ In-Office Whitener. Illumine is a 15-percent hydrogen-peroxide-based treatment that provides significantly noticeable results in 30 minutes - up to nine shades in several clinical studies. The process requires no light, no heat activation, no gingival isolation, and very little preparation and application time.

The components include a two-part, coupled-syringe system (powder in one syringe, hydrogen peroxide in the other), which is mixed chairside, and expressed into the patient`s custom-bleaching tray. The material becomes a rubbery semi-solid in the tray prior to seating it in the patient`s mouth, thus eliminating the need for gingival isolation.
