Surface sealant has greater wear resistance

Bisco`s FORTIFY-PLUS™ is a light-cured, low-viscosity, microfilled resin, used to seal direct and indirect composite restorations, provisional restorations, and amalgams. Contouring and finishing of composites with rotary instruments can create microcracks and surface irregularities that contribute to composite wear during the first six months.

With the addition of filler particles, FORTIFY-PLUS™ has even greater wear resistance than the original, unfilled FORTIFY™. Its unique formulation allows FORTIFY-PLUS™ to be air-thinned, resulting in a film thickness that will not interfere with occlusion.
