AlcoholPlus™ is for use in sterilizing dental and surgical instruments exclusively in Harvey® Chemiclave Sterilizers. Designed and tested by a dentist, the generic solution contains no tertiary butyl alcohol (pungent-smelling denaturant); contains <4% methyl alcohol, and can be shipped with no additional HazMat surcharge. AlcoholPlus™ received an FDA 510(k) #984270 "substantially equivalent in safety and effectiveness" to Vapo-Steril® May 20, 1999.
