MetriCide, a ready-to-use product, has three formulas to choose from: a 14-day nonsurfactant formula with 2.6 percent buffered glutaraldehyde, a 28-day, longlife 2.5 percent buffered glutaraldehyde, and a 28-day, longlife 3.4 percent buffered glutaraldehyde. These products can be used and reused as a sterilant and high-level disinfectant and is recommended for use on immersible dental instruments.
MetriTest is recommended for use to test the minimum effective concentration of MetriCide. There are two tests to choose from, depending on which formulation chosen.
