Air Techniques, Inc. presents Polaris intraoral cameras that combine image quality and ergonomic considerations. The cameras’ patent-pending 330-degree swivel head enables the practitioner to capture all angles, and the rounded, ergonomic design makes Polaris easy to hold and operate. The depth of field for Polaris’ optical glass lens automatically brings all objects from 6 mm to 40 mm into sharp focus. Two models are available. Polaris USB provides power and data transfer in a single computer connection. Polaris Universal offers multiple connectivity options including USB 2.0, S-video, and composite video outputs.

Bitewing film holder for Kodak Suresoft and PSP plates
Dentsply Rinn announced the availability of a new vertical bitewing film holder designed for use with Kodak Suresoft film and PSP plates. Vertical bitewing radiographs can be taken accurately with the new RINN XCP #2 VBW biteblock for Kodak Suresoft film. The double slotted design of this holder allows for positioning regular and Suresoft film, as well as phosphor plates. The filmholder is autoclavable and compatible with RINN XCP positioning arms and rings. The new biteblocks are available in a package of six.

DMG America introduces the latest addition to its Kolorz line of professional dental hygiene products: ClearShield® 5% sodium fluoride varnish in a bubblegum flavor.
