As the final details of this month's cover were being resolved, we couldn't help but notice that Michelle Reustle was hoping that her hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles, would continue its march all the way through the NFL playoffs last season. Her boyfriend had won tickets to the Super Bowl in San Diego, and, needless to say, the diehard Eagles fans were definitely pulling for an extra sweet reason to visit the West Coast. The Eagles didn't make it, of course, but Reustle wrote us afterwards about enjoying the hoopla of Super Bowl week.

She also said, "Besides my trip to the Super Bowl, I have traveled to Mexico and the Caribbean several times, and I have visited almost every state. These trips are usually with friends. My next trips are going to be to Europe, Hawaii, and my dream trip to Egypt."

Reustle has worked as a dental hygienist in the Philadelphia area for the past 11 years, including the last two years for Dr. Cary Limberakis. She began her dental career by working as an assistant to Dr. John Digirolamo, a Philadelphia periodontist.

"Working as a periodontal assistant helped me tremendously with my career for many reasons," she said. "The most important I feel was the hands-on training and teaching that I received outside of the classroom by working at the perio office. Starting my career in a perio office right from school (also her first job as a hygienist) really helped improve my clinical skills."

Reustle is proud of her Philadelphia roots and encourages visitors to check out Penn's Landing, Independence Park, Old City, Boathouse Row, Franklin Institute and the city's zoo. For dining, she recommends Ralph's for Italian, Coyote Crossings for Mexican, and The Fountain for something a little more romantic.
