Goetze Dental
Ben Brunkner — Vice president of marketing. Brunker, fifth generation of family-owned Goetze Dental is the son of majority owners Don (president and chief executive officer) and Janet Goetze Brunker (senior vice president) and a shareholder himself. Ben joined Goetze Dental in 2004 full-time while completing his postsecondary education.
Abrasive Technology
Doris de Beer – Appointed to medical business development team. He will have global strategic responsibility for the subhead’s dental, podiatry, medical and personal care markets and product lines. He has previous dental industry experience.
Argen Corporation
Anton Woolf – Chief executive officer. Woolf joined Argen more than eight years ago in the international sales division, then worked in London while assisting with the integration of Argen’s UK subsidiary, Skillbond. Once moving to Argen’s corporate office in San Diego, he took on the position of vice president and was later promoted to executive vice president.
Carestream Health, Inc.
Dr. Edward Shellard – Director of business development, dental systems group. Shellard comes to Carestream with extensive dental experience, having served as the president of two dental corporations.
Midmark
Ted Kehagis – East Coast regional manager, dental products. Kehagias’s background includes more than 15 years in positions such as dental sales consultant, branch manager, and regional manager for dental distribution. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for Webster Veterinary Supply, Inc.
Milestone Scientific, Inc.
Scott Mahnken – Director of marketing. Immediately prior to joining Milestone, Mahnken served as director of partnership relations at ArcMesa Educators, an organization dedicated to providing accredited continuing education to medical and dental provider.
National Distributing & Contracting, Inc.
Laura K. Reline – Brand development director. Reline has seven years of marketing experience with CryoSurgery, Inc., a medical device subhead. Her most recent position was vice president of marketing and distributor relations.
KOMET USA
Mary P. Heston – National account representative. Prior to joining KOMET USA, Heston was the customer service/inside sales manager for Tyco Corporation. She was also the national sales manager for Visador Holding Corporation.
Klaus Rübesamen – Chief executive officer. He replaces Siggi Haverkamp, who retired last month. Rübesamen, who has spent his entire career working for KOMET beginning as an apprentice in 1981, will be based out of KOMET’s main headquarters in Lemgo, Germany.
Henry Schein Dental
David Brous – President, animal health division, Europe. The London-based Brous joined Henry Schein more than five years ago.
Dan Ginley – Technology sales specialist. Ginley will represent Henry Schein Dental at its Boston center. Previously, Ginley worked for Henry Schein Dental as an equipment sales specialist.
Michael Helig – President, medical division, Europe. For more than 10 years, Helig has led the subhead’s German and Austrian medical businesses. He was instrumental in creating Henry Schein’s pan-European veterinary business. In the last few years, he has also led the subhead’s European medical business.
Allison Mineer – Technology sales specialist. Mineer will represent Henry Schein Dental at its Louisville, Ky., center. Previously, she was a territory manager for Cintas Corporation.
Rich Miranda – Vice president, North America planning and development. Previously, Miranda was senior vice president of business development for Henry Schein Dental and president of Zahn Dental, the subhead’s dental laboratory division. He has been a Team Schein Member for more than 20 years.
Mackenzie Richter – CAD/CAM area sales manager. Richter will represent Henry Schein Dental in the central U.S. region. In the past, she worked for another dental subhead for four years, and has 16 years of dental experience.
Cindy Saddle – Field service consultant. Saddle will represent Henry Schein Dental at its Solon, Ohio, center. Saddle joins Henry Schein with 27 years of dental experience and previously worked for another dental subhead as a sales representative.
George Verdigets – Field service consultant. Verdigets will represent Henry Schein Dental at its New Orleans center. Verdigets has 30 years of dental experience. He previously worked in sales for three years.
Paul J. Wesolowski – Technology sales specialist. Wesolowski will represent Henry Schein Dental at its Ft. Wayne, Ind., center. Wesolowski joins Henry Schein with 10 years of dental experience. He previously worked for another dental subhead as a technology representative.
Susan Wong – Vice president, compensation and benefits. Wong will be responsible for the planning, design and administration of all global compensation and benefit programs. Most recently, Wong was a vice president at Avaya Inc., a global enterprise communications subhead.
Marcy Wrend – Regional sales manager. Wrend will represent Henry Schein Dental at its Needham, Mass., center. Wrend was formerly assistant vice president/regional manager at Choice Health Leasing/Citigroup. She has 13 years of dental experience.
Zenith Dental
Diane Akerlind – Vice president of finance. An employee of Zenith Dental for 24 years, Akerlind began her career at the subhead as a bookkeeper, and eventually moved up to the position of controller.
Brad Barnes – District manager. His territory will include the entire state of Texas. Barnes brings many years of proven sales success and solid customer service skills to his new position. Prior to joining Zenith, he was a sales representative, as well as a district sales manager, in the beverage industry.
Wayne Flavin – Director of educational services. In addition to distributing technical product information throughout the subhead, he will lead Zenith’s efforts in the development of training programs for sales representatives and continuing education courses for clinicians. Flavin has been with Zenith Dental for 12 years.
Paul Polizzi – District manager. His territory will include the New York metropolitan area and northern New Jersey. Polizzi brings many years of proven sales strategies and solid customer service skills to his new position. Prior to joining Zenith, he was a territory manager for another dental subhead, as well as a sales representative for Canon Business Solutions.
Matt Shreibman – District manager. His territory will include the entire state of Pennsylvania. Shreibman brings almost a decade of solid customer service skills to his new position. Prior to joining Zenith, he owned his own fitness subhead, Tradewind Private Fitness.
Amy Stadtherr – District manager. Her territory will include the entire state of Illinois. Prior to joining Zenith, Stadtherr was a sales manager at NetOn-Line, a subsidiary of the American Academy of Dermatology. She also held the position of recruiter at Advanced Resources, a high-end staffing firm. Most recently, Stadtherr was a territory manager for another dental subhead.
