Dear RDH:
I have recently completed a trip to Honduras to start a preventive dental program in several of the remote villages.
I would like to inform other hygienists and possibly encourage some to participate in this challenging yet rewarding experience. My trip was funded by a group called ACTS (Americans, Caring, Teaching, and Sharing), and there are funds available for another hygienist to travel and to continue doing screenings, prophys, fluorides, and education.
