TurboSENSOR™ ultrasonic scaler
Microcircuitry in Parkell's new TurboSENSOR™ scaler instantly detects whether the handpiece contains a 25KHz or 30KHz insert and automatically switches operating-frequency to match. There is no need to manually select the operating frequency.
The scaler features a dramatically expanded low-power range for improved patient comfort. It begins tip oscillation at power settings as much as 40 percent below other models, and features a very sensitive "perio" power adjustment. Yet, at its maximum setting for heavy calculus, the TurboSENSOR delivers greater power than any previous Parkell scaler.
A dual-stage foot pedal allows the operator to jump to high-power "turbo" mode simply by increasing foot pressure. The device includes two autoclavable handpiece sleeves, and features a five-year power-unit warranty plus a three-month money-back trial.

2003 RDH recognition lapel pins
