Jackie believes Bethany Montoya is one of the most positive changes that has happened ot dental hygiene in 2025. She says this because Bethany helped create the Oral Health Awareness Project with a group of her peers. OHAP meets the need of spreading the word about the hygiene profession, what it means, and what RDHs do.

OHAP had their first peaceful demonstration in Washington in October, and more events are planned for 2026. The program has been very well received by hygienists who want to know how they can support their profession. Hear what we discuss and visit oralhealthawarenessproject.org to learn more and become a part of this important movement.

What else has Bethany accomplished that makes her such a positive change in the profession? Tune in and find out.
