In this RDH podcast episode, Jaskirenjit Kaur Gill, BS, RDH, talks about the importance of nutritional counseling during the hygiene appointment.

Why does Jas embrace nutrition? Because everything has to do with the mouth. Nutrition has a big impact with our patients—from children all the way to the elderly. Caries is higher than ever now, and the more prevention tips we can share with our patients, the more help we can provide them. The key is patient education. Most patients embrace the education; it just depends on the delivery.
