Why we're now sending RDH eVillage every week

March 25, 2020
Our goal is always to support the dental hygiene community.
Jackie Sanders, MBA, RDH, Chief editor, RDH magazine

As we progress through one of the most challenging times our country has experienced, what will you do to make a difference?

Here at RDH magazine, we are focusing on how to support our readers, our authors, and help our corporate sponsors, all while Endeavor is focusing on taking care of us, their employees. This is a time to look out for one another and seek the opportunity to help someone in any way you possibly can. No kind deed is too small.

With the ever-growing popularity of RDH eVillage and the continual amount of information pouring on to our editorial desks, we have made a unanimous decision to increase the frequency of our publication. You have made us aware how popular the content is and we at RDH want to continue making a difference on a weekly basis to keep you informed.

The newsletter will now be sent every Friday of every month, 52 weeks a year! Thank you for sharing your voice and supporting our efforts for you.

In the upcoming weeks look forward to content relating to preparing for work once the COVID-19 pandemic is over, what you can be doing now to support your personal career development, and how can you inform your patients of the positive changes they will see in your office when they return. In addition, we will provide continued updates and active sites to keep you informed of the ever-changing news and updates.

Many of you have heard me quote JFK quite often and I recently read a message of his that struck home: “Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.”

I know these times are challenging and we all face the element of the unknown. But try to think ahead by defining your purpose and direction in the recovery. I have had the opportunity to speak with many of our colleagues and embrace the positivity and the element of empowerment the dental hygiene professional holds inside of them. As always, I am proud to be a dental hygienist.
