The Plack Scratcher is a small, plastic disposable pick that consists of two ends - a curved end for the "tricky areas" and a straight end. Its uses include removing plaque and food particles from teeth, braces, crowns, and other dental work. It also can be used to stimulate the gum tissue to ensure better oral hygiene.
The Plack Scratcher was invented by a hygienist who listened to patients searching for an easier way to reach behind lower front teeth, around molars, and the gumline of crowns.
