Needle-Eater® is a powerful, new pulverizing unit that quickly and efficiently grinds needles, syringes, and other disposable objects into a grain-like mass for safe, legal disposal. This unit features a table-top design measuring 20" high, 12" deep, and 8 1/2" wide, weighing only 40 pounds. In operation, sharps are deposited into an opening on top of the unit. After the lid handle is turned in a clockwise position, the crushing action is completed in just seconds. Capacity is approximately 125 sharps.
Once the disposable container reaches a fill level, a hardening-gel agent is added, the container recovered, shaken, and then deposited in ordinary trash. The unit requires virtually no maintenance and can be plugged into any convenient office outlet. The complete startup kit includes the Needle-Eater?, disposable containers, and two sharp-safe carriers.
