The 10th annual Discus Dental Las Vegas Extravaganza was hosted during the Memorial Day weekend. It is an event that outshines traditional convention offerings! Nearly 3,000 professionals attended and enjoyed a range of topics, including aesthetics, practice management, and periodontics. The featured dental hygiene speakers included Tricia Osuna, RDH, BS, Kristy Menage Bernie, RDH, BS, Betsy Reynolds, RDH, and Annette Linder, RDH, BS. Periodontists John Kwan and Maria Ryan rounded out a session designed for the savvy dental hygiene clinician.
The more than 21 continuing education programs were enhanced by presentations from Sean Astin, Dr. Phil, the Extreme Makeover Team, a celebration party headed by Carrot Top, and the first yoga session designed for dental professionals.
