A new breath freshener called Yow!® is said to be the first dentist-recommended product of its kind to help fight the serious problem of tooth decay and plaque, while stopping bad breath and whitening teeth.

- Developed by Dr. Michael Arnold for Wow! Laboratories, Inc., Yow! is the latest addition to the breath-freshener market and has a unique formula of Bicarbosilicate (BCS®) as its active ingredient. Yow! increases the mouth`s pH levels and reduces the development of new plaque by up to 60 percent.

- The user chews two tablets, which effervesce in the mouth and turn into a mint oral rinse. According to the manufacturer, this process leaves behind enough BCS® to bind to the teeth, gums and tongue, absorb plaque and control pH levels for 70 to 90 minutes. When used over a two-week period, Yow! also will whiten teeth by helping to remove stains caused by coffee, tea and tobacco.

- For additional information, contact Paul Gunther, Wow! Laboratories, (888) YES2YOW or e-mail: [email protected].
