Can a genuine apology really make a difference? Absolutely! Shelly Turner speaks from personal experience. A sincere apology taught her such a big lesson that she’s written about it in RDH and wants to share the message with her peers.

It’s important to be honest with each other and to own our mistakes as well as our successes. It’s often seen as a weakness to admit when we’re wrong, an admission that we aren’t perfect. The opposite is true, and a genuine apology and asking for forgiveness goes a long way in building relationships.

Too often we hear “I’m sorry” as a quick statement and not a true acknowledgement of wrongdoing. Stop. Think. Recognize the impact your wrongdoing may have on others.

Tune in and hear what Shelly learned from her experiences and what she has to share with her fellow hygienists.
