Where can dental hygienists make a difference? with Billie Lunt
Billie Lunt remembers being told to follow her passion as she grew up, but she had no idea what that was. But she did have a dentist who changed her smile and made her very happy. She began to think that might be her “passion.”
She went into dental hygiene, and today her passion is helping other hygienists enjoy their careers and find their “happy.” Twenty years into her career she became a hygiene instructor. She believes the impact we have on others brings us to our joy and passion, and we all grow together.
Billie enjoys going into spaces where she can make a difference, and she encourages her peers to do the same. And a positive attitude doesn’t hurt, which she tries to instill in her students.
She shares much of this in her article, How this dental hygienist discovered and shares her joy.
Listen to our uplifting discussion and get ready to find your happy!
