Dental hygiene students are the future of our profession, and the 2022 professionals are graduating with a wealth of knowledge and current research.

The new RDH Student Research Poster Awards, sponsored by Paradise Dental Technologies (PDT), provide an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of senior dental hygiene students and their presentations of current research projects. The students are recognized in two categories: original research and informational.

First place recipients in each category will attend RDH Under One Roof in Orlando and present their results on the exhibit floor on Friday July 22, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Exhibit Booth 735.

The first-place winner for original research is Cassie Tanner, RDH, from the University of Michigan. Her research is on “Assessing Fixed Dental Prostheses’ (FDPs) Impact on Diet and Mastication.”

Watch for upcoming winners in future issues of eVillage.
