RDH Student Research Poster Awards: Second place winners in informational

July 6, 2022
This week's featured winners in the RDH senior student poster contest presented a submission called "Now Hear This," about the perils of loud noise exposure in dentistry.

Dental hygiene students are the future of our profession, and many of our new professionals are graduating with a wealth of knowledge and current research.

The new RDH Student Research Poster Awards, sponsored by Paradise Dental Technologies (PDT), provides an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of senior dental hygiene students and their presentations of current research projects. The students are recognized in two categories: original research and informational.

First place recipients in each category will attend RDH Under One Roof and present their results on the exhibit floor in Orlando on Friday,  July 22, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Exhibit Booth 735.

This week we feature the second place winners for informational poster, Vian Duong, RDH, and Quetzaly Sotelo, RDH, from Cerritos College in Norwalk, California, whose presentation is called "Now Hear This."

Check out the first-place winning submission for informational, “Ozone in the ‘Dentosphere’: Ozone Therapy for Carious Lesions,” and watch for upcoming winners in future issues of RDH eVillage.
