Ultradent announces an enhancement of its Opalescence Tooth Whitening Gel ? the addition of a higher concentration of peroxide to provide a Oquick startO or reduced bleaching time for in-office use.

* Opalescence Quick?s highly viscous 35 percent carbamide peroxide gel is applied with a custom-fitted, scalloped tray in the dental office prior to starting a similar dentist-supervised, at-home procedure using the original Opalescence system (10 percent carbamide peroxide).

* With Opalescence Quick, two hours in-office is the equivalent of about eight hours with the original at-home formula.

* Opalescence Quick can also be used to treat individual, darkened teeth by delivering the gel with a syringe and without heat application.

* For more information, contact Ultradent, (888) 267-1461.
