Get ready for another great year of RDH Community Connections
The RDH Community Connections (RCC) program was organized in 2019, designed to connect with dental hygienists who have created their own groups of followers on the primary social media platforms. This year each member was featured in RDH magazine, sharing their stories, and defining the platforms where they choose to make a difference. Each RCC member worked with the RDH social media team to create reels and share posts that were then shared with the RDH audience.
This summer at RDH Under One Roof, the RCC welcome reception was hosted by Patterson Dental. The welcome reception has always been very well attended as the dental hygiene community is ready to get together through networking events, continuing education opportunities, and on the exhibit floor meeting with the manufacturers who support dental hygienists. This year’s attendance numbers were extra high. The music had everyone dancing and everyone could feel the energy in the room. Thank you again to Patterson Dental for sponsoring this event, which so many attendees look forward to every year.
In 2024, the RCC program will change directions and expand its reach. The program will not focus on social media only but will include the numerous ways dental hygienists reach their communities. We thank all our 2023 members and look forward to welcoming the 2024 group of RDH Community Connections members.
